The Friends of MacDowell is a community of arts supporters who believe that The MacDowell Colony is a place where artists can make brave new work. Members enjoy exclusive experiences within the arts; discover contemporary artists in intimate, curated programs; and gain insider access to art scenes around the world.

Along the way, Friends take a leading role in sustaining MacDowell as a national center with a global view of creativity and multidisciplinary dialogue. Donors contributing annually at the following levels are eligible for memberships of one or two people (all-inclusive except where noted):

The Young Friends of MacDowell is a community of our supporters under 45 years of age who look to MacDowell to curate art experiences across our seven disciplines. We provide a calendar of events that give members access and interaction with artists in social settings. Contributions made through the Young Friends support emerging artists and first-time residencies.
