New Hampshire Benefit

The New Hampshire Benefit for The MacDowell Colony is held annually in the Monadnock region, drawing artists, supporters, and friends throughout New England. Many local businesses and friends from across the state sponsor this annual event. All proceeds from tickets and sponsorships go directly to help fund Fellowships for the more than 250 artists who work at the Colony each year.

Organized by the dynamic New Hampshire Benefit committee, this event explores the broad spectrum of creativity practiced by MacDowell Colony Fellows. This year’s benefit will focus on filmmakers with an evening dedicated to the art of the short film. The 2010 New Hampshire Benefit will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at the Peterborough Townhouse and will be followed by an intimate dinner at Colony Hall on the grounds of The MacDowell Colony.
