You have to fight.
Musician and writer Patti Smith and author Salman Rushdie joined MacDowell Chairman and author Michael Chabon for a wide-ranging discussion at The Whitney Museum in New York on December 4. Before an invitation-only crowd of 130 guests, the trio talked politics, how they wrote, and what they were currently working on during a conversation modeled on dinner banter between artists at The Colony. The evening included a tour of MacDowell’s new offices, a Q&A session with the audience, and a cocktail reception afterward. You can listen to the entire program here.
