One hundred artists joined MacDowell for a night of music, words, revelry, and dancing at New York's Roseland Ballroom as the Colony began its second century. The Centennial Gala featured performed works by noted MacDowell Colony Fellows, including Leonard Bernstein, Richard Danielpour, Spalding Gray, DuBose Heyward and Dorothy Heyward, and Alice Sebold, underscoring the importance of the arts and the role that the Colony has played during the past 100 years. It also marked the beginning of MacDowell’s next century of supporting artists. To read through the program, click here.
